Honestly I don't understand why Anet put such high fire armor for DoA mobs, so the truth is: SF once was overpowered so they nerfed it?

I would say try an ES hero as that would work great minus the area effect if your doing it in HM. Psychic instability would be an option if you wanna drop panic for it, but you have to be able to actually interrupt to run it...

There is no ignorance involved here, there is fact that SF was and is subpar vs DoA foes.
Not only are those entirely different builds but different tactics. Screenshots on the pvx page for the now archived build clearly show the circa half damage that SF is putting out in a tank 'n nuke teambuild..
Shadowlion: DoA is an elite endgame area, the idea is massively increased difficulty over normal PvE,super buffed armor levels scaling with level are just one of the added intricacies.

Well I enjoy my damage as a mesmer. I just think ritualist, a profession that can do tons more than damage, overpowered(Seems like greatly) elementalist, a pure DPS profession(compare to rit) on damage dealt because of the high armor is a little weird.

He's referring to the meta before the mesmer buff that used 2 SF eles, 1 SH, and 1 VoR mes. SF hit 196 at max ranks iirc.

Sf was good in a spike format, this is not a spike format and i doubt the OP is willing to micro cracked armor, the new doa meta uses a mesmer spike, but does anybody run 4 mesmer heroes in doa? no. they use necros and rts, SF was strong in doa because all groups were balled, but when c-spacing it is totally outclassed by other damage sources. Comparing a hero team with doasc is "fairly ignorant" too.

Ok I used SS, rit and mesmer, I found it's not the problem that damage is too low. the problem is position, where shall the melee and casters stand and do we need a tank?
I think maybe I shall make a rit MM to take the damage, replace the curse necro.
Will Vow of Silence+Sliver Armor be good for the Dervish?
